Despite its declining incidence, adenocarcinoma of the stomach treatment has rapidly progress in the treatment of. Gastric cancer still remains a major health problem in East Asia but not in the USA and North-West Europe because of sharp reduction in the incidence of the disease in these geographical areas. Laparoscopic surgery, trastuzumab-emtansine drug and genome architecture-based research represent the latest advances in the effort to improve quality of life and oncological outcome of patients with this condition.
